Aprés avoir sorti son double EP « Voyage Direct », début 2009, Tom Trago a passé ces deux dernières années à chercher sa signature sonore. L’aboutissement de cette recherche voit le jour avec « Iris ». Il met en forme avec succès ses inspirations dans un nouveau son et conçoit un mélange excitant. « Iris » peut être décrit comme un album de soul futuriste, embarquant l’auditeur dans un voyage à travers le futur de la musique électronique. Un futur dans lequel tous les genres et directions fusionnent, de la soul à la techno, en passant par le hip hop, l’électro, la musique classique et le disco.
Durant les deux dernières années, Tom a passé d’innombrables heures à enregistrer son album en studio, sur la route et à Los Angeles, où il a enregistré ‘So Cold’ avec Om’mas Keith de Sa-Ra. On retrouve aussi les collaborations vocales de Tyree Cooper, Oliver Daysoul, Romanthony et San Proper qui viennent souligner la diversité de l’album.
After having released their double EP « Voyage Direct » early 2009, Tom Trago has spent the last two years to search his vocal signature. The outcome of this research was born with « Iris. » It is shaped successfully his inspirations into a new sound and an exciting mix design. « Iris » can be described as a futuristic soul album, carrying the listener on a journey through the future of electronic music. A future in which all types and directions merged, soul to techno, through hip hop, electro, classical music and disco.
During the last two years, Tom has spent countless hours recording his studio album, on the road and in Los Angeles, where he recorded ‘So Cold’ with Om’mas Keith of Sa–Ra. There are also vocal collaborations Tyree Cooper, Oliver Daysoul, Romanthony and San Proper, which underline the diversity of the album.
